The Patrol Division of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office provides 24 hour emergency and non-emergency services. They are responsible for patrolling a county of 632 square miles. They patrol all county roads and provide a visible presence as a proactive measure to help deter crime. 

Some of the functions of Patrol Deputies include:

• Calls for Service
• Criminal and Traffic Law Enforcement
• Accident Investigation
• Public Interaction and Speaking
• Business and Special Area Checks
• Other Agency Assistance
• Warrant and Civil Services
• Sex Offender Follow-Ups

The Courthouse Security and Civil Process Division of the Johnson County Sheriff's Office provides Security to the Courthouse and Courtroom Security for our Courtrooms with Bailiffs and Security Deputies They are also responsible for servings Summons, Writs and Subpeonas issued by the courts. They are in charge of sex offender registration and compliance. They also assist with the other divisions when needed.
