For two days this week Johnson Co. Sheriff Larry Jones, Chief Deputy Shannon Holman and Lt. Eddie Richards received training on courtroom security. This training is mandated by the State of Arkansas. Each of us realize how times have changed and security can not be taken for granted.

The 12 hours of training were beneficial to each of us, as we work to keep our employees, our offenders, our courtroom personnel and our citizens safe while the court's business is conducted.

At the Sheriff's Office we believe that training is a must to keep up with the ever changing dynamics of law enforcement today.
