Operation 1st Strike

After an extensive joint law enforcement investigation, the Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force assisted by the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police Department, Coal Hill Police Department, Lamar Police Department, Arkansas Probation and Parole, and Arkansas State Police worked together in arresting eleven people on drug related charges since the beginning of the year. 

This investigation is still ongoing with more outstanding warrants for arrest. On April 22nd, approximately 23 grams of drugs were seized from individuals along with one vehicle, one motorcycle, and one firearm.

Working together, the agencies purchased over 2.5 ounces of methamphetamine and approximately 7 grams of cocaine that will not reach the streets of Johnson County.
