On January 22, 2018 a tip was given to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Department about a possible discovery of a body in Johnson County.

The Johnson County Sheriff and Deputies responded to a location off of State Highway 123, in the northeastern part of Johnson County where a body was located on a logging road.

The Johnson County Coroner’s office was contacted and took possession of the deceased person. The body will be sent to the Arkansas State Crime laboratory to determine identity and cause of death.
