Over  the last few months as your Johnson County Sheriff I have asked that the public help us watch your neighbors house or the community where you live. Today it paid off in the Knoxville area. The Sheriff's Office was alerted by an individual about a burglary in progress. With that information along with the help of LAMAR POLICE DEPARTMENT an arrest was made. Thank you to the person that called in and to Lamar Police Department for your help. The identity of the suspect is being with held at this time as the investigation continues.    Sheriff Larry Jones
