A 44 year-old Hartman resident was arrested on Sunday, September 9 after stabbing a 34 year-old man during an altercation.
Michael Frederick Belosic was first transported to Johnson Regional Medical Center then taken to the Johnson County Detention Center on charges of Battery 2nd Degree (Class D Felony).
Belosic and Jeremy James Walker, age 34 had an altercation earlier in the day on Sunday and Belosic left the residence on Highway 64 and returned to his residence on Stephens Street.
Belosic returned to the residence around 4:00 p.m. with a knife and another altercation ocurred.
Belosic stabbed Walker in the left shoulder on the back.
Belosic was taken into custody at the scene by responding Deputies.
Walker was transported via helicopter to a hospital in Fort Smith for treatment of his wound.
Additional charges may be filed in the incident.
