Charges are expected to be filed against two women who were caught removing items from a house near the Hickeytown community off of Highway 359 on May 7.

Both women were interviewed by Sheriff's Office personnel and stated they removed the items to keep them from going to waste because the house had not been lived in for several years.

The owner of the residence was trying to work with the suspects to have the property returned but has been unsuccessful in getting all of the items back.

A report will be forwarded to the Prosecuting Attorney's office for review and filing of charges.

The Sheriff's Office is working with the property owner to locate and recover as much of the property as possible.
