Saturday, June 4 is the date set for the 3rd annual Sheriff's Office Christmas Angels poker run. This benefit motorcycle ride raises money to purchase Christmas gifts for needy children in Johnson County.
The ride will start and end at the Johnson County Courthouse, 215 Main Street in Clarksville. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. with the first bike out at 9:00 a.m and the last bike in at 2:30 p.m.
Payback is 25% with 15% for the best hand and 10% for the worst hand.
Hot dogs, chips and drinks will be provided at the end of the run as well as drawings for prizes from local merchants.
The ride will go through Hagarville, Pelsor, Jasper, Boxley Valley and back to Clarksville, approximately 143 miles.
