Domestic Dispute Leads To Two Felony Arrests
A domestic dispute has led to two individuals being charged with felony charges of Battery 2nd Degree. Michell May, age 44 and Ross Meier, age 50 were arrested after being released from the hospital On February 13, Deputies responded to a residence on County Road 3530 with a report of a woman covered in blood. Deputies responded and talked to the woman who was at her neighbor's residence.
Deputies then attempted to make contact with the male subject in his residence and were able to get him to come to the door. They then discovered he had been stabbed in the upper left chest with a knife. Both were transported to Johnson Regional by ambulances where she was treated for a cut to her head and he was treated for a stab wound.
Both appeared before Circuit Judge Bill Pearson on Monday, February 14 where their bond was set at $5000.00 cash/commercial with a court date of March 4 in Johnson County Circuit Court.
