A commercial burglary at the Ozone Burger Barn on May 31 has been solved with the confessions of 3 Ozone area juveniles. On June 1 the owner reported that his business had been burglarized and money and candy were taken. Evidence was discovered near the scene and Deputy Edward Richards and Auxiliary Deputies Susan and Raymond Christian along with their tracking dog, Finnagus, tracked the suspects to a residence. Deputies were unable to contact anyone at the residence. Deputy Raymond Christian was able to locate the suspects on the evening of June 1 where the juveniles, ages 13, 14 and 16 admitted to burglarizing and vandalizing the business. In addition to the theft, damage was done to windows, signs and posts. Total damages may exceed $800.00. The juveniles were released to their parents pending the filing of formal charges.
