The Census Bureau is currently working in Johnson County verifying physical addresses for the 2010 census. Members are going to residences and confirming their existance with a GPS unit. All of the workers are carrying Census Bureau identification cards. Johnson County residents are urged to let the workers do their jobs without interruption. If someone approaches you and says they are from the Census Bureau, ask them for their identification. If they cannot produce Census Bureau identification, contact either the Sheriff's Office or Clarksville P.D. to have them checked out. Remember, an accurate census count determines how much money communities get in turnback funds to help local projects.
