2 Clarksville residents, Brittany Jones, age 20 and Francisco Cortez, Jr., age 20 were arrested on residential burglary and theft of property charges in connection with the burglary and theft from the Albert Arrowood Jr. property located on CR 3451. On March 23, Mr. Don Arrowood reported that he was at his brother's property and discovered a vehicle parked behind the residence with a male and female in the vehicle. He stated he tried to block the suspect vehicle in with his vehicle, but the suspects drove around him and got away. Mr. Arrowood stated he was able to slap the side of the suspect vehicle and recognized the female in the passenger seat. He called the Sheriff's Office to report the burglary. During the course of the investigation and interviews both suspects were arrested. Both defendants went before Circuit Judge Bill Pearson on March 31 for a probable cause/bond hearing. Judge Pearson set bond for Brittany Jones at $5000.00 cash/commercial and appointed the public defender to represent her. Bond for Cortez was set at $25,000.00 cash/commercial, with the public defender appointed to represent him. Both have initial court dates of May 1, 2009.
