2 Arrested After Coal Hill Man Stabbed

2 Coal Hill residents, Nola Walker, age 19 and Earl Shane Walker, age 16, were arrested for Battery 2nd Degree (felony) after an incident in which another Coal Hill resident, Wesley Perry, was stabbed multiple times in the back.  The Sheriff's Office received a call at approximately 11:15 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10 that the victim was at a residence on College Street and the incident ocurred on South Main Street.  Officers from the Sheriff's Office, Coal Hill P.D. and Coal Hill Fire Department First Responders responded to the call.  The victim was treated at the scene and taken by ambulance to Johnson Regional Medical Center for treatment.  Nola Walker was arrested at the scene and Earl Shane Walker was located in the woods near Highway 64 after a brief search and arrested.  Both defendants went before Judge Gordon W. McCain on Wednesday, March 11.  Nola Walker's bond was set at $2500.00 and Earl Shane Walker was denied bond because of being on probation for an earlier offense.  Earl Shane Walker will be charged as an adult on the current charges.  Both defendants are scheduled to appear in circuit court on May 1.
