Suspect Arrested After Overnight Stabbing, Attempted Kidnapping

A suspect is in custody after an overnight incident which involved three persons being stabbed and cut, one critically.  The suspect, Kou Her, age 21 of Clarksville was taken into custody at the scene by Sheriff’s Deputies.

The incident occurred at approximately 3:45 a.m. at a residence on County Road 2243 near Hartman.

According to witnesses, they woke up and discovered Her, a family relative, in the bedroom of their 6 year-old daughter.

Family members tried to remove Kou Her from the residence but he allegedly attacked them with a large knife and a pair of scissors.

One family member suffered a deep cut under his left upper arm and another suffered a cut to a finger.  The most serious wound was to the 6 year-old who suffered a puncture wound behind her ear.  She was transported to Johnson Regional Medical Center in Clarksville and transferred to Arkansas Childrens Hospital in Little Rock where she is listed in critical condition.

Her was subdued by family members and continued to fight with them and Deputies while being transported to jail.

Her is being charged with three counts of Second Degree Battery, one count of Residential Burglary, one count of Attempted Kidnapping and one count of Attempted Murder.
