1 person is under arrest and another is being sought on a warrant for delivery of a controlled substance following the conclusion of separate drug investigations. Francisco Cortez, Jr., age 21 of Clarksville was arrested on a Bench Warrant on Friday, May 7 when he arrived in Johnson County Circuit Court with a family member. Cortez was arrested on 1 count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (meth). A separate warrant charging him with a second count of Delivery of a Controlled Substance (meth) is pending. Cortez appeared before Circuit Judge Bill Pearson on May 7 where his bond was set at $10,000.00 cash/commercial. He is being held on a parole violation warrant as well. Sheriff's Office personnel are looking for Keith Mathis, age 41 on an outstanding Bench Warrant charging him with 2 counts of delivery of a controlled substance (meth). Mathis delivered suspected methamphetamine to undercover officers on two separate occasions. Anyone having information to the whereabouts of Keith Mathis is urged to contact the Sheriff's Office.
