A benefit poker run held on Saturday, May 8 raised $440.00 for needy children at Christmastime. Approximately 30 bikes and 38 persons participated in the ride, which covered 143 miles in Johnson, Pope and Newton counties. The money raised was turned over to the University of the Ozarks women to be used for their Angel Tree project this Christmas.
