A 20 year-old resident of the Hunt community died as the result of a self-inflicted gunshot wound at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2010 at his residence on County Road 3190. Kyle Weldon was pronounced dead at the scene by Al "Junebug" Davis, County Coroner. Witnesses state that Weldon was arguing with family members and as the family members were speaking in the hallway about how to get him under control they heard a gunshot in the bedroom. Family members then called the Sheriff's Office and EMS to the residence.
