Sheriff's Office Receives $4200.00 Equipment Grant

The Johnson County Sheriff's Office has received a $4200.00 equipment grant from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant Fund.

This grant is administered by the Arkansas Department of Finance and Administration and was received in January 2015. In order to get the grant the Sheriff’s Office had to return the application explaining why we needed the items we wanted to purchase.

The grant will be used to purchase 2 new desktop computers and to replace five bullet proof vest.
