Ashley Heaslet

Ashley Heaslet, age 26 of Hartman was arrested by Deputy Todd Russell following a traffic stop on Highway 103 approximately 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, September 22.  Heaslet was a passenger in the vehicle and as Deputy Russell was speaking to the driver, Heaslet began speaking.  Deputy Russell then noticed Heaslet had a syringe sticking out of the top of her shirt.  Deputy Russell went to the passenger side of the car and ordered Heaslet out.  Upon extiting the car, Heaslet dropped a baggie containing suspected methamphetamine on the ground and emptied the contents of the syringe on the ground.  Marijuana and pills were also discovered in the vehicle.  Heaslet was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Deliver, Possession of Prescription Drugs w/o a Prescription and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Heaslet appeared before District Judge Len Bradley on September 23 where her bond was set at $15,000.00 cash/commercial
