Two Arrested After Deputy Discovers Them At An Unoccupied Residence

Jason D. Reames

Chris Price

Two Johnson County residents were arrested on Saturday, December 3 at approximately 1:20 a.m. after they were discovered at an unoccupied residence attempting to remove property from the residence.

Jason D. Reames, age 31 and Chris Price, age 33, both of Clarksville were arrested after an investigation.

Reames is charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Price is charged with Possession of a Firearm By Certain Persons.

Deputy Todd Russell was on patrol on County Road 1780 near Flat Rock when he noticed two vehicles parked at a residence that Deputy Russell knew was unoccupied.

Deputy Russell made contact with Reames and another subject in the yard of the residence and noticed items in the bed of a truck that they were apparently attempting to steal.  Russell contacted Deputy Aaron Einert who responded to the location and upon speaking with the subjects, who had conflicting stories, deputies noticed each vehicle contained a firearm.

The firearms were checked and cleared and returned to the vehicles.  Deputy Russell then made contact with Price, who was inside the residence.  After more conflicting stories, Sheriff's Office Detectives were contacted.

All three subjects were questioned and Reames and Price were arrested on the above charges.
