Clifford Edmund Bates, age 45, turned himself in at the Johnson County Detention Center on Wednesday, November 30 at approximately 11:00 p.m.

He was being sought on a felony warrant charging him with two counts of Possessing Matter Depicting Sexually Explicit Conduct Involving A Child, a class C felony.

Clifford and Roger Bates, who face the same charge were arraigned before Circuit Judge Dennis Sutterfield on Thursday, December 1, who set their bonds at $100,000.00 cash/commercial.

Both are ordered to appear in Johnson County Circuit Court on January 6th, 2012.

The investigation in the case continues.
